Foliofathom Read what survived
Eight original case boxes · persistent research desk · no true crime

Solve a mystery hidden in the paperwork.

Foliofathom is a free detective game for readers who enjoy quiet deduction. Open letters, receipts and records, work out what happened, then choose the documents that prove your theory. Every case is original fiction, there is no timer, and you get eight document mysteries plus a daily reading room.

Sources disagree, and some quietly copy each other. A theory only closes the box when you pin the records that actually carry it.

Reading method

Source, context, corroboration.

  1. Open at least three records. Search and timeline views organize; they do not interpret.
  2. Pin records that directly prove or disprove an answer.
  3. Select a theory and submit it with the decisive evidence. A correct hunch without support does not close the file.
